Many are seeking the path to future retail, and LANDMARK, the city’s luxury shopping destination, is among them. Their vision is BELOWGROUND, a hybrid cultural-retail concept in the mall’s basement. The experience-led initiative aims to ‘break the boundaries of contemporary retail’ by fusing fashion, art, design, music and culture – street and pop culture in particular – within a 557m² space reimagined by London design studio Brinkworth. From retail pop-ups and food kiosks to showcases of up-and-coming artists, its rotating curation of brands and exhibitions is enough to entice repeat visits from the hip and happening crowd.
