H Queen’s
Central and Western
Located in the heart of Central, H Queen’s is one of the world’s first purpose-built vertical galleries. Combining art and F&B spaces for a unique lifestyle experience, the sleek, shimmering structure was designed by local Architecture firm CL3 and its principal, William Lim, a keen art collector. His insights led to features such as a floor-to-floor height of 4.65m to accommodate large-scale pieces, floor-to-ceiling glazing to make art visible from the ground and surrounding buildings, and enormous sliding windows that serve as both energy-savers and urban theatre when craning up bulky artworks. The 24-storey art hub is now home to international galleries David Zwirner, Pace Gallery, Tang Contemporary Art and Whitestone Gallery.
