K11 MUSEA, a Journey of Imagination, is the cultural-retail landmark in Victoria Dockside, K11 Art and Cultural District, located on the Tsim Sha Tsui harbourfront. It is the result of the collaborative efforts of 100 Creative Powers, an international group of more than 100 architects, artists, craftspeople, conservationists and designers. Notable were Kohn Pedersen Fox (architects of the 10-storey mall), James Corner Field Operations (landscape and streetscape, including a world-class promenade and urban theatre), LAAB Architects and Speirs + Major (collaborators on the Opera Theatre atrium, a mesmerising galaxy of stars featuring unique, handpainted panels and 1,800 programmed lights) and entrepreneur Adrian Cheng, who orchestrated the 10-year project. The creative destination is family friendly, so expect to be inspired and entertained by a roster of illustrious brands and exciting eateries, with museum-worthy artworks hanging from the ceiling, in various installations, on the walls … or even disguised as seating.
