With more than a century of history and counting, the PMQ site first served as the Central School’s campus in 1889, then as the dormitory for rank-and-file police officers in 1951 and now as a landmark to nurture local designers. Since its launch as a creative hub in 2014, PMQ has been home to more than 100 local young create-preneurs, with workshops and studios featuring lifestyle, fashion and accessories, Architecture, product design, furniture and a wide range of other designer goods. With the annual design festivaldeTour as its flagship event, celebrating local and international creativity, it is also a venue of choice for art and cultural events from Hong Kong andaround the world.
