Moroso Pop Up Store at Pacific Place (Level One, 88 Queensway, Admiralty Hong Kong) will remain set up until Sunday 8 December, in correspondence with Business of Design Week. Here, a selection of Moroso’s more recent designs: Zanellato/Bortotto’s Mangiafuoco coffee tables, Ron Arad’s One Page armchair, the Pacific sofa collection and Ruff armchair by Patricia Urquiola, as well as the Pebble Rubble modular sofa designed by Front.
Moroso was founded in 1952, the brainchild of Agostino Moroso who, together with his wife Diana, founded the company with the aim of manufacturing sofas, armchairs and furniture. In the ‘80s, the second generation of the family began an in-depth process of research into quality design, led by Patrizia in artistic direction and Roberto on the business side. Today, the company positions itself in the haute couture segment of international design and as a leader in the upholstered furniture sector. This visible and respected presence has been built day after day on the ability to impart extraordinary creativity to the designs and manufacture products of exceptional quality. Through the hard work and expertise of its skilled craft people and the creative contribution of great international designers, over the years Moroso has created a wide and varied range of products, many of which are recognized on the market as iconic pieces.
